Clement Kids Drama

Theatre Instruction for Kids

Clement Arts is proud to present Clement Kids Drama — theatre instruction for kids ages 5-9. Join us as we discover the joy of the performing arts and of stories well told.

About the Class

Let Loose!

Leave your worries at the door and let loose! Students will explore the world of theatre through movement, games, art projects, and more! In this hands-on class, students will learn the basics of performance and acting for the stage. They will be encouraged to be wild and bold with their choices. Not only will this class shape young actors into confident performers, theatre also cultivates useful skills such as teamwork and communication.

Proceeds from class help support local adoption and foster care.

Clement Kids classes are open to all children in the community.

Instructor – Callie Hampton

Callie Hampton is so excited to have the privilege of being involved with Clement Kids Drama this year. Callie started getting involved with Theatre at the early age of 5 with the Springer Theatre Academy. She took classes and performed in shows at the Springer for 14 years. Callie is a Columbus native and is majoring in Elementary Education at Columbus State University. She is so excited to combine her love for Theatre with her calling of being a teacher. Every child that walks into the classroom is going to be loved on, encouraged to fail boldly, and learn that drama will teach them life skills that will be applied to their lives. IT’S GOING TO BE A FUN YEAR FOLKS!
