About the Instructors

Holly Price – Creative Movement Instructor

Holly Price grew up taking ballet and has always had a love for the art of dance. She holds a Bachelor’s in early childhood education from LaGrange College, and taught first and second grades in Georgia and Virginia before deciding to stay home with her three girls. Holly currently homeschools her three children and ministers alongside her husband, Gill, a local pastor. Her heart is to pursue dance excellently and as an expression of worship to glorify and honor the Lord. She is delighted to be a part of what the Lord is doing in and through Clement Kids.

Ava Dunlap – Pre-ballet

Ava is a junior at Columbus High School. She started her dance career at age 3 and has been dancing for nine years. She has performed in Tangled, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, The Princess and the Frog, Frozen, Babes in Toyland, and Anastasia with the Academy Dance Center. Ava is the oldest of five, three sisters and an adopted brother. She hopes to continue her love for children and dancing in the future.

Meghan Brooks – Ballet I Instructor

Meghan Brooks grew up taking ballet and has always enjoyed dance as a means of worship and fellowship with the Lord. She studied with The Columbus Ballet Conservatory from ages 12 to 18, and continued dance throughout college with Auburn University’s Dance program. She has performed in The Columbus Ballet’s Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Swan Lake, as well as Auburn University Dance’s performance of “Colony” choreographed by Bill Evans for the National American Dance Festival in 2010. Meghan moved back to Columbus in 2012 to work as a Physician Assistant at Mercy Med of Columbus nearby on 2nd Avenue. She has been involved with Highland Community Church’s after-school ministry, teaching a ballet class to several elementary aged girls in the community. She enjoys being a part of Studio Elevare to share the joy of worshiping God through dance.

Ellie Grace Hughes – Ballet 2 and Ballet 3 Instructor

Ellie Grace Hughes first started her classical ballet instruction at age six. She has trained for twelve years, including preforming for the Columbus Ballet Company.  Over the last six years she has been teaching children ballet as an art form.  Ellie Grace is currently in school for a degree in Creative Writing.  She is also a graduate of Impact360, a biblical worldview and servant leadership gap year program.  Now, she is looking forward combining her passions for
the art of ballet, teaching, and children in an environment that promotes inspiration and dignity.

Brooke Saalman – Beginner Tap/Jazz Instructor

Brooke Saalman started dancing at a young age and has always had a love for the art of dance. She has taken most genres of dance and her favorites are jazz and tap. She competed at many competitions throughout her teen years and has had the opportunity to take classes from several professional dance instructors over the years. She taught dance throughout her college years as she was pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State University. She later went on to complete her masters in Elementary Education at Liberty University. She taught first and second grades for 6 years before becoming a children’s ministry director at a local church and has recently decided to stay home with her two boys to focus on being a mom. Her heart is to instill the love of dance in children and to use her talent to glorify the Lord. She is excited about joining Clement Kids and having dance back in her life.
