Introducing Kids to the Joy of Art

Clement Arts is proud to present Clement Kids Art — a place for kids, grades K-12, to discover the joy of art. Whether painting or drawing, kids will develop the skills they need to express themselves and reflect the beauty of the world around us.

About the Class

Ages 6-8
August 22 – October 3

Tuesdays, 4:30-6:00 pm

*Class will not meet September 19 due to the Clement Arts Celebration.

Ages 9-13
October 17 – December 5
Tuesdays, 4:30-6:30 pm
Instructor: Judy Dodds
*Class will not meet on October 31 or November 21.

Clement Kids classes are open to all children in the community.

Pricing & Registration

Registration/Supplies Fee (per student): $25

*Registration fee must be paid for child’s name to appear on class roster. Registration fee is nonrefundable. An invoice for class will be sent via email on August 1 or once registration form is received.
Class Tuition Ages 6-8: $135 ($60 per 4 hours of instruction, class is 1.5 hours each week)
Class Tuition Ages 9-13: $180 ($60 per 4 hours of instruction, class is 2 hours each week)

*6 weeks in fall semester
10% discount if semester paid up front
10% additional child discount for homeschoolers
10% additional child discount for military
Only one discount available per family. Discounts are not able to be stacked.

About the Instructor – Judy Dodds

Judy Barr Dodds is a long time Columbus artist who teaches at Columbus State University as well as private classes around a full time painting career. Her favorite medium is oil painting. She is married many years to her husband Tim, an architect, add they have two incredible girls, Adah and Kayla. Judy is a child of the Lord, and realizes the gift that has been given to her is to be used to share and spread God’s love!
